With only 59 days until the opening of the Tulsa State Fair, the excitement continues to grow. 

The fair brings lots of great entertainment, but one of the most anticipated stages is the Oklahoma Stage that features nationally known artists.  This year, in honor of the "Pass the Corndog" theme, we are featuring the Corndog Craze Contest on the opening night of the fair.  The 2013 Oklahoma Stage line-up is as follows:

An Affair of the Heart...Enough Said!

Saddle Up and Hit the Annual Cowboys of Color Rodeo

The 2013 Green Country Cowboys of Color Rodeo will be heading to the Expo Square Pavilion, August 24, beginning at 7:00 pm.

The evening promises to entertain with events such as bull riding, calf roping, steer wrestlin' and bronc bustin cultural entertainers. You won't want to miss the Buffalo Soldiers, Charros, Escarmuzas, Ceremonial Dancers, Tennesse Walking Horses, Pony Express Relays and much more.

If that isn't enough, Cupid will be performing live and will be working to achieve the world's largest Cupid Shuffle Dance.

River Spirit Expo

Expo Square is excited to have the Naming Rights of the Expo Center, between TCPFA and the River Spirit Casino "RSC".

Bring on the Breeders!

The Cutting Horse industry continues to prosper with a large help by the Breeder's Invitational.  The Breeder's Invitational has over 300 premier Cutting Horse Stallions in the industry and the governing Board of Directors contains some of the industry's leading members.

The Breeder's Invitational started May 11 and will run through May 25.  Events begin at 8am daily throughout the Expo Square complex.

Come watch the exciting world of Cutting Horses and the competition that this great industry represents!

Sandia Classic

With over 25 years of horse show management and production experience, the Sandia Classic continues to work hard to produce a continuously successful event in Tulsa!

The Tulsa Classic will make its way to the Built Ford Tough Complex, April 24 - 28.

With multiple classes and top prizes for winners, the Tulsa Classic is sure to be another successful year!

Jumping Into Another Exciting Week!

Expo Square will be jumping with excitement (literally) as the Go Tulsa Spring Horse Show makes its way to the Ford Truck Arena.

April 17 - 21, shows will begin at 8am daily.  This free show is great for those who participate in the competition and those who just like to sit back watch.

Fairgrounds Pollutant Collection!

What do you do with so many of those items that you want to get rid of, but don't know where to take them?  You won't want to miss the Fairgrounds Pollutant Expo this weekend at the Square!

Accepted items are household cleaners, pesticides, fertilizers, automotive fluids, cooking oil, batteries, all fluorescent light bulbs, small ammunition, smoke alarms, aerosol paint, hobby paint, pool chemicals, items containing mercury, and unused or out-of-date prescription medications.

All residents of Tulsa and the Tulsa metro area are welcome to bring any of these items, April 13 & 14, between 10am - 3pm to Lot 7.  This event is not for businesses.

Enjoy the Beautiful Weather at Expo!

If there are two things in the weather realm we are not going to turn down, it is rain and great temperatures and we are fortunate to be having both!

With these, Expo is excited for our upcoming events this weekend and we hope you are too!

The Expo Center will welcome back Wanenmacher's Tulsa Arms Show. One of largest gun shows in world and it is housed right here in Tulsa.  Saturday, 8am - 6pm and Sunday, 8am - 4pm, located in the Expo Center.  The Tulsa Flea Market is a Saturday favorite for many.  With jewelry, antiques, furniture and so much more, this event is free and open from 8am - 4pm, located in the Exchange Center.  Looking for something in the arenas?  Look no further because the Oil Can Classic will be in the Built Ford Tough Livestock Complex Thursday - Sunday.

March excitement continues as this week brings numerous events to the Expo!  Check out what will be happening this week.

The Tulsa Workshop will begin March 21 - 23, located in the Exchange Center, Central Park Hall and the Pavilion.  This event is free to the public, but please register in advance by calling (918) 344-3402 or emailing, becky@memorialdrive.org.

 The Oklahoma Ride & Slide I & II will be in the Ford Truck Arena, March 22 - 24.  Free for all to attend and exciting for the entire family to watch.

March 23 & 24 will bring the Can-Am Demo Tour to the Fair Meadows Infield, 9am - 5pm daily.

Make your way down to the Mustang Arena for the Rope the Ozarks Oklahoma Showdown, March 23 & 24.

Don't miss the Tulsa Flea Market that has become such a hit here at Expo.  This free event is open to the public from 8am - 4pm, March 23 at the Expo Center.

The Champions are Coming to Town

Expo Square will be full of hopeful champions...that is champion dogs of all shapes and sizes.  The 2013 AKC National Agility Championship will be in the Ford Truck Arena, along with AKC Rally National Competition and 19th AKC National Obedience Championship, located in Central Park Hall. 

This three-day event will test the dogs in multiple areas and will give Champion titles to the top ranking dogs.

This free event is open to the public and running Friday - Sunday.

Bring on the Home and Garden Projects

The longest-running Home and Garden Show in the state will be in the Expo Center, March 7 - 10, at the Tulsa Home & Garden Show.  For those upcoming projects, you will be able to schedule services, ask questions and see demonstrations.

Show hours will be Thursday, 5pm - 9pm; Friday and Saturday, 10am - 9pm; Sunday, 11am - 6pm.

The Circus is Coming to Town

The circus comes into town once a year and they not only are here to entertain, but also promote a good cause.  The Akdar Shrine Cicus will be February 28 - March 3, located in the Pavilion.

The Human Cannonball, Russian Swing, Shrine Circus Clowns and Flying Trapeze are just a few of the amazing talents that will be at this fantastic event for all ages.

Come join the world of magic and amazement at the Circus that brings smiles from not only those attend, but those who receive medical treatment with the proceeds that are benefitted from this event.

The Shriners Hospitals provide free treatment for children up to 18 years of age, if the child has an orthopaedic or burn problem and if, in the opinion of the chief of staff, there is a reasonable possibility that treatment will benefit the child. All who attend the circus will help benefit this great cause.

Calling Women of Tulsa

What is happening this weekend that features shopping, home and garden, demonstrations, and maybe some good looking Tulsa area firefighters?  If you answered the News Channel 8 Women's Living Expo then you are right!

This event made specifically for the ladies will be Febrary 8 - 10, in the Expo Center. 

Three stages will feature fashion and entertaining, lifestyle and a kitchen stage.  Areas will include beauty and makeovers, fitness, pets, specialty foods, health and wellness, home decorating and so much more.

Bring on the Open Road and Summer Water!

The Tulsa Boat, Sport & Travel Show is returning to the Expo Center, January 28 - February 3.  With everything from demonstrations, seminars and all of the boats, RV's and outdoor equipent one can imagine will be available.

Pro Fisherman seminars will take place every two hours by some of the best pros in the business.  You also won't want to miss the WakeBrother, Hillbilly Handfishin', Mudcates and the Oklahoma Bass Tub. 

Activities will be available to keep the kids entertained, as well.

Time for Home Improvement!

Bring out the gardening gloves and house paint, and don't forget to visit the Green Country Home and Garden Show this weekend!

Over 150 exhibitors with numerous displays and demonstrations will be highlighting different areas including home improvement and outdoor projects.  Local home improvement experts will also be sharing tips on "how to" projects and hourly educational seminars will be given.

Junior Wrestling at its Best!

The 2013 CF Athletic Tulsa Nationals are coming to town and they will be housed in the Expo Square Pavilion.  With 58 years of tradition, over 2,000 wrestlers representing 40 states will come together to compete for this national title.

With camps, clinics, All Star Teams and numerous competitions, World of Wrestling has continuously provided opportunities to strengthen the sport and the athletes potential. 

The 2013 CF Athletic Tulsa Nationals will be in Tulsa, January 17 - 19, beginning Thursday at 4pm and 8am on Friday and Saturday.

Chili Bowl Fever

The time comes only once a year when the Expo Center is transformed into a championship racing track featuring over two hundred race rigs, bleachers for thousands of people and trade show.

The Chili Bowl Midget Nationals was started in 1987 and has only seen continuous growth over the years.

Qualifying events will take place Tuesday - Friday, with the Championship on Saturday. 
Grandstands will open at 3pm daily and racing will begin at 6pm for qualifying races.
